The Art of Garment Weathering
Techniques, Creativity and Artistic Vision
Discover the art of garment weathering through a workshop in which Marie Rosette reveals her unique creative process, inspired by the visions of the writer, producer and director. This workshop explores how aging techniques, such as washing, tinting, ripping and texturing, can transform garments so that they tell a story and fit into an overall artistic vision.
At every stage, Marie Rosette translates the ideas and essence of the work as expressed by the creative team. By fusing their visions with her expertise in textile transformation, we bring to life pieces that visually resonate with the story, tone and mood of the production. This workshop is for anyone who wants to understand how to create garments that enrich the universe of a play or scene, giving them the experience, weight and history that each character carries with them.
Ages 18 + | This workshop will take place in French.
