International Day of La Francophonie: A hundred years of French theatre with Théâtre Cercle Molière
Friday, March 20, 2026, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.
Organized in partnership with Canadian Heritage and in collaboration with Théâtre Cercle Molière, this event will spotlight the francophone theatre scene as part of the company’s 100th season. An adapted version of the play “Ô Canada, té qui toi?” will explore themes of identity and the inclusion of newcomers within francophone communities.
The presentation will be followed by a live discussion with the artists on the cultural diversity of Canada’s Francophonie and the role of the arts as a space for reflection and dialogue.
Founded in 1925, Le Cercle Molière (now Théâtre Cercle Molière) is the dean of Canadian theatre companies in all languages...
